Wasaga Beach ("The Beach") is a well known tourist destination in Ontario. Boasting the world's longest freshwater beach at 14 Km (8.7 Mi) long, it is located on Nottawasaga Bay at the Southeast end of Georgian Bay. The white sand beach and golden sunsets are home to over 18,000 full-time residents. Another 16,000 seasonal residents and over two million visitors grace its shores each and every year.
