The NMR club began renovating part of one barn in the ByGone Days Museum in 2015. Since then the club has constructed a sizeable HO scale layout and the display is now part of the Museum. Presently all track work is complete on the first level, electronics installed, a Helix is under construction as well as the second level for trains.

Trains on the NMR layout can be operated with a free IOS App for Apple devices (Ipad, IPhone, Ipod). The free App for most Android powered devices is available called Engine Driver. Once visitors have control of a locomotive with their device it can be used to take the Camera Car for a spin around the layout. This car has a wireless video camera built in to provide the Train Engineers eye view from the Locomotive. These images are transmitted to several flat screen TV's.
